A Debt Service Coverage Ratio, commonly known as a DSCR, Cash Flow loan is a type of investment property mortgage that enables borrowers to qualify based on the cash flow generated by the rental property. DSCR Loans simplify the process for real estate investors to secure an investment property mortgage.
Income Requirements
Unlike traditional loans, there are no income requirements for a DSCR mortgage. Instead, lenders assess the estimated market rent for the investment property to determine if the anticipated rental income will adequately cover your monthly loan payments. This approach differs from conventional loan options that typically require employment verification and debt qualifications. These loans are also referred to as business purpose loans or private lender loans.
